Dear Stacey, The very fact that you are worried about this tells me that God is working on you to help you be a loving Christian and an obedient daughter. Ask Him to keep working and especially to help you listen carefully and obey the first time. You will probably make mistakes, but God will help you do better all the time. Mrs. Sox
Dear Mrs. Sox, My cousins want me to visit them but I feel scared because they don’t keep the Sabbath and I know they will invite me to play the wii on the Sabbath. If I say no they’ll get offended, but if I say yes I’ll be breaking the Sabbath. What do I do? Josef
Dear Josef, Some games on the wii might be OK on Sabbath. I haven’t checked it out, but perhaps you could do that before you go. And have other things in mind to do so that you don’t have just wii or nothing.
Can you take some Christian animal videos or true stories or board games? What about getting your parents to help you plan a hike or trip to the zoo with your cousins?

Dear Danielle, I just saw a bunch of interesting-looking DVDs on the adventistbookcen ter.com website. All kinds of nature videos and true stories about Christian heroes. If you live close to an Adventist Book Center or have another Christian bookstore in your town, you will find all kinds of DVDs that would be appropriate for Sabbath. I hope you don’t just watch DVDs on Sabbath because it is good to get outside or visit friends or someone who is sick too, but there are certainly many good choices of Christian programs for Sabbath. Tell her Mrs. Sox is overweight too, and she knows that God loves fat people, because God says that we can’t do anything to make Him love us any less. He loves everyone with all the love in His God-sized heart. Mrs. Sox
